The Blacklist is the only current broadcast tv show hubby and I watch. The rest is all MeTV and true crime stuff. We watch it only for the superb James Spader, but we’re getting to the point with the SJW stuff that we’re not even sure he can draw us in anymore.
Hubby said during the last episode with the “AI” blacklister... “They’ve crossed over into a science fiction show now.”
I saw the show last night. Black List is one of my favorites and the only show on a major network that I watch.
I thought the premise of last night’s show did an excellent job of showing just how malevolent and insane the left is and how far they are willing to go to force their evil on others.
The pastor who kept the baby he was forced to gestate was an equally good example of a principled conservative stance on the sanctity of life.
Yes, but she kept her character by having no ethical problem helping him break the law by being perfectly willing to kill his baby anyway. As in real life, abortion is the prime directive of an abortion provider superseding all legal, moral and ethical concerns.
Another delicious irony to me was the "surgeon" who said of her daughter "What do you imagine I've been doing for the last seven years, every waking hour, every time I gaze into the loving face of my beautiful daughter? You'd think the miracle of life would erase the violent act that produced it." The daughter whose existence was the very reason she was filled with rage and hatred because she wasn't legally allowed to violently kill her.
Why do they always have to ruin a good show. I have the last episodes on record. Not looking forward to watching them now.
After watching this episode I thought about aborting The Blacklist from my TIVO.
I recently aborted “The Walking Dead”.
“The Blacklist” just isn’t the show it used to be. Killing off Tom and Mr. Kaplan was a mistake. Getting rid of Samar was wrong too.
Besides that, the writing and acting has slipped. It’s not the quality show it once was. Even Spader is phoning it in.
