Do you know how LONG it takes to walk from Bathroom #1 at one end of the bedroom to Bathroom #2 at the other end of the bedroom?I do, yes. If the distance doesn't bother you, there's always the noise.

The Town of Greenwich releases specific details regarding property taxes and vehicle taxes on individual residents. I find that quite amazing...a dishonest person with a computer and some time on his hands could find out info on individual residents which could make them targets for robberies and even kidnappings. After all there are many, many *very* rich people living in that town.

This is only surprising to morons with no clue about supply and demand and the long-term effects of Leftist policy. There are several important things that draw the very rich to Fairfield County,CT. 1) an easy commute to Manhattan (by train at least) and 2) much lower total taxes (income tax, property taxes, etc) than residents of NY and NJ pay.
They do pay much higher taxes than most of America pays (except, perhaps,Kalifornia) but compared to most residents of the "Tri State" region they're way ahead.

If you are a rich, and you’re going to spend that kind of money on a home, you’re not thinking about the resale value, you want it to be as personalized as possible. So odds are, it will be very unlikely you’ll find a buyer who will have the same tastes, and willing to pay what you spent on the house, unless the location is so desirable, and in that case, odds are the buyer will just tear down the house and build a new one on the property.
