I disagree with the article. The media will always forgive and forget when it comes to their favorite politicians. The media both likes and needs Mitt. He’ll be just fine.
And the next election is pretty far off for him. So he’ll be just fine there, too.
The media will do what ever they what, but Snit’s reputation will never be the same.
He has lost immense credibility with regular folks.
What could he realistically expect other than to remain in the Senate until he chooses to leave? I don’t think this tiny fluff-up will have the slightest impact on that likelihood.
