Do what thou wilst is the central tenet of the Church of Satan.
As such, does this chief lie?
Answer: whatever it takes.
~~~~~~~~~~~
I used to believe their lies. In the 80’s I read about Satanism and then read a lot more about how it was all fake, meant to provoke outrage from “silly” Christians etc. For some reason, there are schedules listing the type of human sacrifices to made for Satanic holidays.
Yes I think the chief is lying and I also think it’s likely that the middie who wrote the open letter may secretly be a member of the group. His letter was so perfectly crafted to steer Christians into compromising with Satanists. In fact, his letter is not far from a recruitment letter for Satanists - just keep an open mind and talk to them blah blah blah.
The strategy of the letter reminds me of the strategy a Middle Eastern terrorist, Ayman Zawahiri (sp?), who flew over New York with a reporter prior to the 9/11 attacks eagerly talking about how NY was a “Soft target” and then afterwards, as smoke billowed up from the ruins, urging Americans, directing them to “understand” that this is a matter for the police (go to court) and that it was impossible to even consider a military response for such a matter.
So Christians are “unreasonable” if we object to worshiping evil because we’re told it’s just a thought/analysis of alternatives and if we don’t want to go listen to those who worship the father of lies, then we’re not open minded. *smh*
