I knew 3/4 way through our first date we would be dating long term. 3rd date we would be married. So did she.
We never had the conversation that comes up about no longer dating anyone else, that we were officially a couple. It was instinctively a given by both of us.
25 years later still together happily.

LOL!!! I lived in Europe a long time! The one thing I noticed about American women is that most of them do not know how to dress! Maybe they think they’re beautiful and can be like Daisy Duke, but they’re not!

There’s also the issue of imprinting. One imprints on their first sex partner, the second (especially if it is a short while later) blurs the focus, the third further blurs, by the tenth or so, there is no focus. No subsequent partner can ever fit the established template, there will always be a sense of them not being quite right.
Indians seem to have pretty good arranged marriages, besides the factors of parents who arrange the marriage having more experience in judging people, besides the parents not being under the influence of raging hormones, besides the parents selecting from families in similar circumstance, with similar values, the first sexual encounter is after marriage, and by the time they’ve worked through the traditional wedding present of the Kama Sutra, they are pretty thoroughly imprinted on each other!

Mostly true. I think the threat of out of wedlock pregnancy and no easy abortion kept people more honest, but back then, if you got pregnant, there was pressure to marry right away. Some of her rules make sense, but I know women who’ve done all of them and were left flat.

I have no idea what a healthy dating culture is or society might say it is. Getting advice before the dates may be a good idea but you can only discover the health of your dating culture after the dates.
For what it is worth my advice to young men and women is simple and straight forward.
To the young men; if it has tires or tits you're going to have problems with it.
To the young ladies; if it has tires or testicles you're going to have trouble with it.
I know it is a generational issue today but there was an adage that was basic and true. A man chases a woman until she catches him. It seemed to have worked well for quite some time.

Rule 3 Don’t agree to a date just for a free meal. Don’t take any food home.
Rule 4 You will answer to God on how you treat your spouse.
Rule 5 Don’t be attracted to trash. Don’t be trash.
Rule 6 Recognize bad choices are your choices. Women up.
Not sure I agree with all of these. Definitely not sure today’s wymyn will heed any of them. And there’s a part of me that says it’s proper and fitting that wymyn should reap what they’ve sown.
What guy in his right mind wpuld marry one of those useless asset-drainers?
