Trump has succeeded in getting the dems to scream TREASON for someone engaging a foreign country to assist in surveillance of a presidential candidate, all the while ignoring that there are piles of evidence proving that the Democrats have done more than that to Trump...even after he was elected.

I don't think pointing out that the thread has a problem maintaining the standards of civility that typify Free Republic is pessimistic. I think it's optimistic. I remain hopeful that we can raise the level of discourse here so that it doesn't include name calling, and rude comments.
