That's why guns should be prevented from sneaking around.
You have to understand for Canadians like me it is so ingrained in us, in is almost knee jerk. Sort of like the fear of nuclear war. As a kid in the 80s when I heard a jet in the sky I was just sure the big one was coming to melt me down. I know the stats show that gun deaths are rarer than falling deaths. But the primal part of me is still paranoid about cutting someone off in the USA for the fear I will be gunned down. We have seen those 20/20s where gun fights have broken out between neighbours, ect...
I understand more than you know, treat everyone with equal disrespect, and enjoy making my Canuck relatives miserable.
Years ago, I faked running out of gas with them in the car, in the very worst part of Oakland (shortly after the earthquake damaged Bay Bridge was re-opened). I told 'em that all the locals with the big hairdoos were Black Panthers, and we'd probably have to shoot our way out.

LOL. I have to admit when I was in Florida I had a little scare when the taxi driver couldn’t find our hotel. I imagined the worst, but turned out Orlando had some new condos and taxi drivers didn’t know about them.
