When he gets it, he is not going to want it nearly as bad as he thought he did.
The big city California DMVs do a fine job of teaching a proper attitude toward government.
Only part of the article is satire.
I’ve seen that happen.
I was just at my local DMV to renew my license. After 35 minutes of standing in a line that did not move, it was announced that the computers were down and NOTHING would be done that day.
Oh, and the DMV is also our MANDATORY insurance agency.
Yay socialism.
Me, too. I have waited for 45 minutes in a California DMV line only to be told by a rude clerk that I was in the wrong line. She pointed me to another, even longer line. After a few similar experiences I decided to patronize only rural DMVs, no matter how far I had to drive to get to them.
LOVE BB!. Also love that in our crummy little one-horse town, I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get my license renewed. (Oklahoma has privately run businesses that renew driver’s licenses and car tags).
In my neck of the woods going to DMV on a monday is just plain asking for it. Thursdays suck almost as much.
I have also learned that going to the local small town DMV is always worth the drive.
