Im not sure why all the posters here are up in arms. If I recall correctly, these were Trumps first words of his victory speech on election night (morning?). Complicated business is a vast understatement of the effort it took for him to get elected. Hopefully we get similar results in 2020.

Yes, you are right.

My wife and I were watching a video of that great election night/early morning in November of 2016. She loves that line, "sorry to keep you waiting …… complicated business" and especially the way DJT delivered it.

I just wanted to see if any others enjoyed it too. Here's hoping that he can deliver it again next year.

It was a great moment! Perhaps the most thrilling political event of my life, and I'm old! And I went to a gala reception with President Reagan and his administration, but election night 2016 was the best political event ever!
