They will schedule me Monday. Have to have 2 - 3 weeks apart. What dates they give will determine if I leave on the 21st to the 28th to Alaska to visit my grandson in the Coast Guard before he gets sent to Hawaii in September.

In addition to the property in the San Antonio area I have a 90 acre farm at the entrance to Door County WI, so I can still escape if needed. The house in Chicagoland is going to be sold. I hate it here and I have been voting republican all my life for no reason in Chicagoland.

Have a cousin in Door County Wisconsin. They actually use it as their winter residence. Their children still live in Minneapolis Both are writers in retirement and enjoy the solitude.
Would be two great homes. Everyone I know who have lived in Chicago or the IN Region have moved Many to Az or Fl. Even their young people are leaving.

Do you have any fishing lakes near your farm? Any cheeseries that specialize in cheese curds? I think we had an entire evening discussing the best cheese curds awhile back. Memories of Wisconsin are always the wonderful lakes full of great fish and stuffing in the cheese that No one else replicates. It’s a beautiful state.
