Everything they have is available on various sources through Kodi.

Anybody would think that QUEERS, LESBOS, and TRANNY FREAKS are 80 to 90 percent of the entire population judging by most media (so called) entertainment.

Makes one wonder how approximately 1.2% of the population could have gotten that powerful, does it not?

“...alienating half of your possible customer base is a poor business model....And yet company after company does that. Why?”

Good question. I believe the wealthy Left has come to view media venues and franchises largely as political influence tools, not purely as financial investments.

Shareholders and private owners interested mainly in profit have long since divested after watching ratings drop for years - replaced by a new breed of owners and investors who are seeking to influence public opinion - and are willing to subsidize it by accepting less than optimal profits.

As such, they don’t mind losing conservative audiences which they have already written off as unreachable (deplorable), and are happy to focus on honing their message to the soft middle while playing to their hard Left echo chamber.

This is one of the main reasons Hollywood, Academia and the MSM can stray so far from the values of middle class America - and still survive. They are immensely wealthy - their endowments are beyond belief.

They don’t need to be responsive to the middle class - they don’t seek to serve that market - they seek to shape it in their Leftist image.

I don’t think we will be able to hurt them with boycotts and such - they don’t need our business. It’s going to be a tough nut to crack - somehow we need to expose the evil of their agenda despite their media monopoly.

President Trump is doing great - but we need more like him.

Reason to cancel the streaming service? The Barry and Mike deal would be more than enough.

I subscribe to Netflix but now I'm getting notices when I turn on my smart TV that there are movies available to rent? I thought just subscribing to them that all movies would be available. Apparently not.

If I have to now pay to rent movies on Netflix with my subscription then I'm cancelling too........

I’d subscribe if they’d make a Rom-Com about The Rookie and The Wookie... Or maybe Uncle Joe Stalin and Nadezhda.

100% for sure. They alienated 63 million customers.

I don’t think it’s alienation as much as it’s their interface that’s driving folks away. It’s hard to find something new to watch without being bombarded by their autoplay trailers. After a couple of tries, I close the channel and go to Prime or HBO. Whoever thought that this interface was a good idea was an idiot.

We had a family subscription, paid by my daughter, the poorest of us all. She quit when they raised the rates.

I never watch TV. I watch select movies from my DVD collection. I saw Casablanca last night, and Howl’s Moving Castle last week. I stopped watching network TV in the early 90s when Cosby and Tool Time went off the air. I watched a little NCIS in the 2000s and that’s it.

Too many commercials, too low quality.

I also watch Youtube channels with educational and sports content.

I looked at a few of their websites.
That looks like a company ready to fail.
They promise hundreds of items, but
never get specific. No thanks.

Probably. People that don’t like porn mixed in with their drama won’t find a lot to like in Netflix. Netflix apparently has a production standard that any male -female pairing in a film should include at least one elongated scene of sexual climax and preferably a bunch of such scenes. If you have a family (or if you don’t), please dump it. 90% of R rated movies are very tame compared with the very common Netflix T-MA rating..

You must not have a Netflix subscription.

Netflix has over two dozen Disney titles available for streaming.
They are:
John Carter (just added in May)
Antman and the Wasp
Star Wars - Solo
Star Wars - The Last Jedi
Avengers - Infinity War
Thor: Ragnarok
Black Panther
Coco
Mulan
Hercules
Tarzan
Lilo + Stitch
Pocahontas
The Princess and the Frog
Incredibles 2
Bolt
Cars 3
Wreck It Ralph 2
Wrinkle in Time
Lilo + Stitch 2
Christopher Robin
The Little Mermaid
Mary Poppins Returns
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
There are about 10 or 15 more minor titles streaming

Here is what left in June:
101 Dalmatians
An Extremely Goofy Movie
Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves
The Fox and the Hound 2
The Jungle Book: Mowglis Factory
Guardians of the Galaxy 2
Mulan 2
Disney Nature: Wings of Life
Disney Animation Collection Volume 1 - Mickey and the Beanstalk
Disney Animation Collection Volume 2 - The Three Little Pigs
Disney Animation Collection Volume 3 - The Prince and the Pauper
Disney Animation Collection Volume 4 - The Tortoise and the Hare

The Disney titles will be on for most of the next two years until they move over to Disney's new streaming service.

You don’t need to pay additional beyond your subscription to Netflix.

I do indeed have a subscription and Disney’s pulling its content from Netflix..less and less on it over time. If you think not I suggest you go back in your search a bit further. Also Disney doesn’t just have movies... you’ll find a lot more Disney content has left Netflix if you look.

Netflix raised their prices and has been losing more and more content to other streaming services for a while now.

Their “original” content, safe a few edge cases is craptastic... and much of what it claims is original that isn’t crap is actually stuff produced overseas they Netflix bought exclusive us rights to.

Been a subscriber since the days it was disk only... and it’s general value proposition has dropped consistently over time... its first mover advantage has mostly played out. It’s not going out of business anytime soon but the days of nearly everyone having it are over.

Too many other streaming options, lower price points and better content are going to cause Netflix a lot of pain... folks with young children will happily paying the mouse about half the cost of Netflix for far more content when they launch later this year. Expect Netflix is subscriber numbers to keep falling for the foreseeable future, at least in the US.
