Ever watch Family Feud?
Hearing-impaired since RVN, I seldom watch TV or movies.
That said, in the last ten to fifteen years, there have been huge advances in hearing aid technology and closed captions.
Some audio sources I can now hear comfortably.
For reasons, I do not understand some audio is fantastic and some so-so?
Old habits die hard, so still very little TV for me.
Less than one hour a week.
Also since RVN, I believe Hollywood pushes the culture in the wrong direction. Sometimes politically and sometimes simply, who cares, we will make a bundle! Violence, porn, rap... Recall the prevalence of security cam ‘stars’, holding the pistol sideways?
They did not learn that technique by reading a book.

I have some black friends who would actually find that to be a good natured challenge.
