Just for fun….

Scientists Discover Connection Between Full Moon and Earthquakes
https://time.com/4489824/full-moon-earthquakes/
By Kate Samuelson
September 13, 2016

“Large earthquakes are more likely to occur when there is a full or new moon because of the gravitational pull on tides, a new study suggests.

“Researchers led by Satoshi Ide, Suguru Yabe and Yoshiyuki Tanaka, all from the University of Tokyo, found that tides—which arise from the gravitational interaction between the Earth and the Moon—can cause changes that may trigger earthquakes.”

Frankly, the Cascadia Fault is going to trip first before we get a big one near San Francisco.

I'm keeping my eye on the Cascadia!

Whenever I visit the WA and OR coasts the thought never leaves my mind. All the tsunami warning signs don’t help. But where I live, almost 300 miles inland, I don’t think about it too much except for planning for power outages and general emergency preparation.

It’s the same old “Nothing to see here, move along” propaganda/people handling method. They want people to be happy little workers and don’t want them to think about what’s coming.

Scientists have disputed that for years when commoners felt tidal influences had an affect on earthquakes. It wasn’t too many years ago they also said earth quakes were stand alone events, not affected by other earth movements.
