You might find this interesting:

Because of its short average time in the atmosphere, a molecule water vapor has a Greenhouse Warming Potential (GWP) of -0.001 to +0.005, (where CO2 is 1.0 by definition).

[G]reenhouse-gas warming [by watervapor] is outweighed by increases in reflectance from humidity-induced low cloud cover, leading to a near-zero or small cooling effect.
Yet your analysis appears to give equal weight to a molecule of natural water vapor and anthropogenic CO2.

Garbage science, that is a meaningless statistic being waved about to rescue your doomsday fantasy.

It doesn’t matter how long an individual molecule is in the atmosphere, it is easily replaced as soon as it precipitates out. Water vapor completely dominates CO2 in terms of absorbing and holding heat. Even moreso when you consider that it isn’t just atmospheric water vapor at play. All surface water is absorbing heat constantly before it even makes it into the atmosphere.

When you consider the amount of energy absorbed by liquid water and it’s heat of vaporization, CO2 becomes an absolute joke in terms of climate. One can only reasonably come to the conclusion that those proposing CO2 as a cause of global warming are scientifically illiterate or utterly dishonest politically motivated psuedoscientists.

I can’t keep track of the latest name for the climate hoax, either.

But I do know the real physics. Short version: a quiet sun means less solar wind and magnetic activity, which in turn leads to more cosmic rays reaching Earth from deep space, which in turn leads to more clouds, which in turn leads to cooling. Why would the sun be quiet? All has to do with the center of mass of the sun vs. the center of mass of the solar system, which is primarily driven by the orbit of Jupiter. When the two align, the sun gets quiet. That’s a really short version, but the basic physics is well know and can be empirically proven. Human activity is less than a rounding error compared to the forces involved.

Also, CO2 has narrow absorption spectra. All infrared (heat) CO2 can absorb in those spectra is absorbed in the first few tens of meters of air. The rest passes straight through. Thus, if the CO2 content of the atmosphere increased 1000 time, NO more heat would be absorbed.

Finally, CO2 is plant food. More CO2 equals more plants. That’s a good thing for us carbon based life forms.

There’s a lot more. This is just a simplified summary.

Yeah, but the left wants to cancel capitalism just to be sure... Or something.

Very interesting comment. Any idea what the mechanism is? When you have alignment, what changes enough to affect the sun?

Yup. If the centers of mass of the sun and the solar system (primarily driven by the position of Jupiter) align, there is less turbulence and therefor less fusion within the sun. It gets quieter. When they don’t align, there is a lot more turbulence and therefore more fusion. This is not too dissimilar from how tides work on Earth. /this is a very simplified explanation
