The UAW President makes $200K/yr...and you can be sure that there's a sweet benefits package that goes with it.

And you can also be sure that there are at least a thousand others who are making $100k/yr...plus.And that kind of money goes a long,long way in states like MI,OH,IN and KY.

especially so with the UAW which drove the domestic auto manufacturers into the ground.

Back in the '70s, I worked with a guy who said he lucked out with his General Motors automobile, bragging that he got a "Wednesday" car.???

I asked what that meant and he said the GM car workers were still hungover on Monday and Tuesday from the weekend and did slovenly work. Thursday and Friday they were looking forward to the weekend and did the same. Wednesday was that narrow point in time when they turned out a decent quality vehicle.
