But this thing will be turned to an evil use by bringing in the killers of our oppressors to “justice.”
My thoughts exactly.
If or when that happens, I suspect I will already be dead or in some retraining camp from fighting to protect my Country and our Constitution.
Let us hope we can avoid that.
Fortunately, my time in the service ended long before DNA comparisons became feasible.
Not identical but close. In these tests, they determine relationships based upon "centimorgans." My son shares about 3400 centimorgans with me. A full sibling will share b/w 2400-2800 normally (2200-3200 max range).
You will share about HALF of the DNA of your parents.
They say there is no such thing as an ex-Marine.
But by committing this murder this guy has made
himself an ex-Marine.
You the murderer don't have to, all it takes is a family member to enter their DNA into the data bank and then the field of potentials is narrowed down dramatically.
Once positive hits are made, then the real thorough investigation can get started.......
“You the murderer don’t have to, all it takes is a family member to enter their DNA into the data bank and then the field of potentials is narrowed down dramatically.”
Yep. Pretty cool.
“And what if that murder IS justice?”
It’s not. Do the crime ... do the time.
If this is true, I’m guessing that these men are Dems/liberals, and they are being protected for their votes.
How many states have restored the voting franchise to convicted felons for the same reason? And is this not a big reason that the dems are championing illegals the right to vote?
Tell that to our ruling class.
They don’t need to match a sample to your DNA, a cousin is close enough. They can also now print out a mug shot of your face from your DNA.
If you are going to commit a crime, make sure you take along a salt shaker full of DNA from a few thousand random people. I’m sure this is already being done — there are probably websites selling the stuff.
If a sample submitted to 23andme or any other DNA lab is from a “product of incest”, that will be plainly obvious. Do the labs have a policy on informing the customers?
How about powerful Dems as rapists and illegals as rapists.
No. You have unique DNA from anyone but an ID twin.
It’s the combos they look for.
But, mitochondrial DNA specifically, is the same for you both. It is passed from mother to mother, and stops as a result with males. You will not pass on yours. I pass on mine, the same as my mom and her mom and her mon - but it ends with my son. :-D
The media loves to headline the title of any person that allegedly does a wrong is a former servicemen. Scumbags. Do you ever see them mention Democrat in the headline when a politician is in trouble?.
Besides the obvious ability to identify criminals or to find our past and present relatives.
Our DNA or anyone’s might be worth a fortune re treatment of diseases and prevention of disease with a cloned product of the DNA.
Rumors have been around for over a decade about how a few people, who draw blood keep an extra vial from each patient that is bought at the end of a day at a price to make this bs worth it. Then, those blood samples are searched for the holy DNA grail or for some specific advantage in certain disease states.
3 years ago, I was asked by my private practice FP if I would participate in a study based on my DNA. I was never told why or how I was selected. I said no.
Since then I went to a big HMO for my health care. A few months ago I got an email asking me to participate in a study based on my DNA. This time I talked to a person getting patients. She wouldn’t tell me how or why I was a possible selection for this study.
Then, I asked if my family could know what is happening including a son who is a member of this HMO could know what for and why if I became part of this study. I was told no, and I then said no.
DNA of brothers would tend to be very similar especially if the milkman and the postman were identical twins.
Your DNA would be similar, but not the same.
One of my siblings has very similar DNA as mine and so does her daughter and grandkids via her daughter/my niece/
The biggest variances seem to be with the minority DNAs.
