...No knock raids are justified here, the tax cheats could send a plant down the garbage disposer in the time it takes us to politely knock and identify ourselves”...

In a pig's eye no knock raids are justified.

1. How long does it take to put a couple hundred plants down the disposal? If the house only has one or two the plants are legal.

2. Before they even knock on the door, any competent plumber can block the drain from the house in about 2 minutes -- the item they use is called a "test weenie". Goes in real quick and keeps the evidence right there in the blocked sewer pipe. They can even train a cop how to block the sewer.

The po-po murdered two people in Texas in a no-knock raid recently. Never again.

There must be a mistake here. Wasn’t legalization supposed to eliminate the illegal drug market? Well, the illegal sellers can sell cheaper by avoiding the state imposed sale tax. Now who would have thought. Competition is such good thing. It drives our economy.

Wasn’t legalization supposed to eliminate the illegal drug market?

RTFA - the very first sentence says the busted growers were "selling the drugs out of state." Free clue: out of state, marijuana remains illegal.

“In a pig’s eye no knock raids are justified. “

maybe /s should have been added. Point was, legalization just shifts WoD to tax matters.
