When I lived in Minnesota (born there) we never had issues like this.
There were multiple injuries reported. Apparently no one was charged with any kind of assault.
I think it would depend on who the person is. If it’s a white guy, he’s crucified even if he was hit with a hammer or pipe, first, and riots in the streets.
Another somalian, black or hispanic guy, barely a blip on the radar.
But it’d be nice if it were a guy like Vince, the character that Tom Cruise played in the movie, Collateral.

Straight up ice running through his veins, waiting for them to make the first move to ensure self defense under the law. That would be so awesome.
I can imagine. And that is why I hope types of these incidents happen more. I definitely do not want to see anyone hurt or killed, especially if they’re just somebody, minding their own business just trying to get to where they have to go. But, the more these types of incidents happen, the more people should wake up and realize that we’ve let numerous foxes into the hen house and it’s time to get rid of them.
The unfortunate thing is, most folks don’t care until they or someone they know is on the receiving end.
We never had this kind of crap in Dearborn, MI either, until Clinton decided to start importing Terrorism to America. Followed up by Jorge Delano Bush and Obama.
Most likely some freak show Career State Dept. person embedded him/herself into the INS system and allowed this crap to continue for decades.
Now we have our own Third World shit show right here instead of having to travel 5,000 miles to experience it.
Only problem is we can’t send in the Special Forces to eradicate the tumor.
