“Too complex”

Three sentences.

“too tied to a commodity”

Do you have a better tie?

Remember gold has been the basis of money throughout human history until 1934.

If left to market forces, gold is a good measure of value.

The tie is a loose one.

Only a few states have property levies that would be impacted. My property tax is about 45% of the current cap amount.

More than half of all income would fall outside of the protected zone.

We have a court system out of control because our Constitution is too concise.

The courts get to fill in the blanks.

The collusion stuff obviously didn’t stop Trump from winning, and he was what it was aimed at.

“The collusion stuff obviously didn’t stop Trump from winning”

Trump wasn’t running. Members of the House were running. You could say Trump lost the House. That was not his fault, but it is what happened and “property” taxes had little to do with it. MOST taxpayers do not itemize deductions, so most get no differnce in taxes owed, or refundable, on April 15 due to property taxes.

“We have a court system out of control because our Constitution is too concise.”

I disagree that how concise the Consitution is why the courts are out of Control. They worked fairly well until the Progresszive era began and judges startex inventing answers and acting like legislators instead of doing their jobs and making legislatures live with the results of what is often unenforceable legislation.

It - the problem - is that legislation since the progressive era has INTENTIONALLY been “TOO concise”, leaving INTENTIONALLY for their acivist judges to fill in the blanks with their own “living Constitution”.

The correction of the judiciary is more judges of the Scalia and Thomaas type, and Trump-Pence has been delivering that.

We have a court system out of Control because of the activist judges that have been appointed to the courts.

Beware of someone named after the dog on a cartoon show.

Good point. From:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Griffin

“Brian Griffin is a fictional character from the American animated television series Family Guy. An anthropomorphic white dog voiced by Seth MacFarlane, he is one of the show’s main characters as a member of the Griffin family. He primarily works in the series as a less-than-adept writer struggling to find himself, attempting essays, novels, screenplays, and newspaper articles.”

2,200 square foot house and 100x100 lot wouldn’t have to pay more than about $5,980 in annual property taxation.

My 1800 square-foot home on 4 3/4 acres costs me $700/year in property tax. Don’t know that I’m warming to this idea.

You are far too generous in giving the government the money that belongs to the People.
