.....”Police ‘strategy’ was talking to the kids and moving the crowd along”.....
Undisciplined kids have no fear of their parents, no fear of their teachers, and no fear of the police...... children never spanked by their parents often grow up to become ‘defiant’ teens....When parents do not enforce their authority, it serves their childrens future poorly.
As my cousin Vinny would say, “These 500 yutes were merely out for an evening stroll, your Honor/”
Cops love criminals who wear their pants like that. They cant run!
Just expressing their sorrow for the loss of Notre-Dame cathedral to fire... They couldn’t just wait till Sunday, when they will be in church, to find solace...
Yes - my thought as well. Or released to their grandmother.
From "Ten Rules For Dating My Daughter:
Rule Three:
I am aware that it is considered fashionable for boys of your age to wear their trousers so loosely that they appear to be falling off their hips. Please don?t take this as an insult, but you and all of your friends are complete idiots. Still, I want to be fair and open minded about this issue, so I propose this compromise: You may come to the door with your underwear showing and your pants ten sizes too big, and I will not object. However, In order to ensure that your clothes do not, in fact, come off during the course of your date with my daughter, I will take my electric nail gun and fasten your trousers securely in place to your waist.
well the "people" part is questionable....
Chicago became a “de jure” sanctuary city in 2012 when Mayor Rahm Emanuel and the City Council passed the Welcoming City Ordinance.
Chicago stands firm as a Sanctuary City!
In November 2016, Mayor Rahm Emanuel reaffirmed Chicagos status as a Sanctuary City, ensuring we continue to provide a home to hardworking, honest individualsregardless of their place of birth.
Being a Welcoming City means that we are committed to serving and protecting all Chicagoans. FBI crime data shows that sanctuary policies increase public safety by allowing local law enforcement to focus on keeping neighborhoods safe and encouraging immigrant communities to cooperate with law enforcement.
To reinforce Chicagos status as a Sanctuary City and our commitment to inclusivity for people from all parts of the world in the City of Chicago, Mayor Emanuel and the Chicago City Council took extra steps in 2012 with an ordinance that protects the rights of immigrants, and grants all residents access to city services, regardless of immigration status.
The Welcoming City Ordinance also codified local policies to help ensure undocumented residents are not prosecuted solely due to their immigration status. As such, the Sanctuary City protection covers Chicagoans of all agesin school, at work and as they seek city supports and resources. This means that Chicago police officers cannot arrest on the basis of immigration status.
Chicago Public Schools (CPS) and the City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) have also taken extra steps recently to ensure that students have a safe and welcoming learning environment to thrive in, and have reminded staff and students of resources available to them post-election. Parents and families with a child in CPS are encouraged to reach out to their childs principal or teacher with any concerns or questions they may have.
The City of Chicago has repeatedly stood up for the legal rights of undocumented immigrant children in the courts. Most recently in November 2018, the City of Chicago led 18 other local governements in filing a legal brief to preserve state-licensing requirements designed to protect all immigrant children detained by the federal government.
