Tom Brady is 18th on the list, making $15 million. Kirk Cousins makes more. Brady takes less than he could get, and the team knows he does. By him taking less than fair market value, the other players get better money. it's an investment to him, to have his offensive line paid well. Maybe one of the reasons he has more Super Bowl appearances than any TEAM, except, of course, his own NE Patriots.

That being said, not all QBs can trust their team to spend that money wisely. Dak Prescott is still on his rookie contract, and makes $700,000, but Jerry hasn't used the extra money to turn the Cowboys into winners. Surprised he hasn't tried to sign Manziel again.
