Oh. Re-Sign. NOT Resign!
We need another word in English to make that point.
Yes. I know the article would make it all clear.

Oh. Re-Sign. NOT Resign! We need another word in English to make that point. You are not the only one. I read the headline the same way.

Same here. I thought, who quit?
To: CaliforniaCraftBeer
Cool!
I understand the Safeco Stadium in Seattle is a needle and shite free zone.
Then again...

Safeco Stadium in Seattle
Safeco Field is now T-Mobile Park and is where the Seattle Mariners play baseball. The Seahawks play football nearby at CenturyLink Field.

Pro sports is getting out of hand. Time to focus on high school and college sports.

He has never impressed me. Every ball he throws is like a high, arching floater. He does not have a gun.
There is no way that he is worth that much!

The only important part of a NFL contract is the GUARANTEED money.
Last night, I read he got $106 million guaranteed.
If they release him or re-negotiate after three years, that works out to $35.3 million per year.

People need to learn how to HYPHENATE. That makes all the difference.

I'm a dyed in the wool capitalist and have my under grad decree in economics. But I do not understand the sports phenomena of wanting to be paid the highest of any ________ (fill in the position).
When you are not talking millions but 10’s of millions difference, it gets a bit greedy for my liking.

Yeah, because colleges and college students and college-age athletes NEVER gripe about America and the US flag.

The measure of the best is how I see it... Tom Brady is 18th on the list, making $15 million. Kirk Cousins makes more. Brady takes less than he could get, and the team knows he does. By him taking less than fair market value, the other players get better money. it's an investment to him, to have his offensive line paid well. Maybe one of the reasons he has more Super Bowl appearances than any TEAM, except, of course, his own NE Patriots.
That being said, not all QBs can trust their team to spend that money wisely. Dak Prescott is still on his rookie contract, and makes $700,000, but Jerry hasn't used the extra money to turn the Cowboys into winners. Surprised he hasn't tried to sign Manziel again.

So, the entire team quit over his bloated contract? No, but they will when they are told there's only enough money left to pay them $15/hour.
