Why is no one making a squid burger?
This will go as well as their SALADS.
It will get the same customer approval of the “New, Improved” Coke, from 20 years ago.
McDonald’s had a McLean ‘burger’ years ago - I think it was made out of seaweed.
This won’t be around long.
I thought it already was meatless.
Carl’s Jr. / Hardees just came out with a Charbroiled Veggie Burger.
I hear it doesn’t taste too bad, but I haven’t been close enough to starvation to want to actually eat one.
I had a McDonalds quarter pounder on Sunday. I asked for no ketchup or mutard. They did leave it out along with all the fixings. They included a warm plain hamburger. About 8 bucks with fries.
I think I had a bit of food poisoning....
Burger King has always had a Veggie Whopper. Their salad bar was a huge hit until someone intentionally contaminated one and corporate pulled them nationwide the next day.
Whatever happend to Wheres the beef?
Who will be the first to roll out a dirtburger?
Carl’s JR has had that burger out for over 2 months.
Well, it is a ‘whopper’.
they say the burgers actually do taste like meat, and have a very similar texture- I predict they will be around longer than the nasty ugly veggie burgers that were around before- I think a lot of vegans actually do want something that tastes like meat, but just no real meat in them- Wallburgers in boston sells them and do quite well i believe- The staff all tried them and were pretty impressed- I personally don’t care- would never eat them- but would at least like to try one just to see for myself-
lol- good one
that would actually be a good advertising slogan for these veggie burgers- have some elderly lady with unique vioce say that- take a bite, and then say ‘oh yep- there it is”
An acquaintance who was with the company at the time told me that New Coke was NEVER going to last forever. It was designed to be on the market for a few months and then Coca-Cola top brass would announce that "due to public demand" they were bringing back the original formula. "New Coke" tasted lousy and they knew it. It made people want the original Coke. More than they usually did.
It was a psychological marketing ploy. And it worked.
[[I think I had a bit of food poisoning....]]
Man- last time i ate at Wendy’s I got sick as a dog- it was awful-
Thats because they can’t make it taste like meat.
