The story was, was that Topsy went rogue and killed a handler or someone and thus needed to be put down, according to the story. After that...well, it wasn’t pretty.

Grand FUNK Railroad was from my old stomping grounds in Flint, Michigan.

The Grand TRUNK Railroad runs right through Flint on its way between Toronto and Chicago. Which is where the guys got the idea to name their band.
