The USA has, by far, the most lawyers per capita. Over a 12 times more than Japan. So,yes, you could probably do with fewer. Here’s an interesting chart:

However, it’s an interesting read.
He was sexually abused as a child and beaten.
His problems were issues with that, a messed up head that should have been dealt with.
And he does make the comments that at various points someone *should have told him* but the one person who tried, he fired so he wouldn’t have listened anyways. There’s a bit of blame shifting going on, which drives me nuts.
He’s back to acknowledging he’s a man.

That will be something, alright — if it ever is “allowed” to happen.
I say kill three quarters of all the lawyers and let the rest clean up the mess. That should keep them off our backs for a while.
