As a woman that’s exactly what I was thinking! And even if you are in a loving relationship what woman is going to accept that their man hasn’t, maybe, forgotten to take a pill? Women forget pills all the time. At least they can then take other precautions. I just don’t think men would realize that in a timely manner!
