You have a minimun of 24 hours to wait for a colonoscopy in almost all circumstances. It has to be scheduled, to start with. Then there’s the prep, which occupies most of the preceding 24 hours.
I’ve also never seen nor heard of a case of a man getting a vasectomy on a whim. “Hey, doc, I came in with a sinus infection, but could you just do a vasectomy while I’m here?” I’ve seen them done as office procedures, but they still have to schedule in advance.
