What is making their lives stressful is the realization that in life not everyone gets a trophy.
Look, I realize saying the younger generation is soft is standard get off my lawn fare and is as old as can be but really......damn. They really are incredibly soft. I blame baby boomers and the socialists in teaching for it. Its truly sickening.
I am taking another look at the theory that average human intellect and capability peaked somewhere between 1850-1950.
This type of distopian future has been examined in science fiction quite often, coincidentally, starting in the latter half of the 20th Century.
Its called LIFE and things don’t get any easier.
Too bad parents and our so-called education system have taught so many that life is a free handout.
Illegal Immigrants of today are today’s “Child laborers” and don’t forget H1-b visa’s.
But today’s progressives don’t object; Illegal immigrants vote for them s, “No problemo!”
I wonder what happens when life comes along...
Mild confrontation with the boss, "Caden, this is the third morning you've arrived at 8:45. The day starts at 8:00, and I need you here on time."
Mild confrontation with a vendor, "No, we can't replace your cell phone for another three weeks."
Just...life. Subway is running 10 min late. Traffic is bad. Idiot cuts you off in traffic. Co-worker is rude.
How do millenials deal with it??
“has there ever been a generation that HASNT said that?”
As well as the next generation saying “you bunch of babies - WE are the ones who had a right to be stressed!”
As well as the next generation saying you bunch of babies - WE are the ones who had a right to be stressed!
Err...make that “the PREVIOUS generation”...
Its flipping phones and social media. These people and kids get so stressed over that crap.
