As our culture rots and marriage decays into nothingness, and fatherless young thugs run the streets.

I just learned that Hal Blaine died from a reader comment on a YouTube recording of Connie Francis “Where The Boys Are.” Hal Blaine played drums on that 1960 recording when he was 32.

What an amazing musician — 35,000 recordings, including some 6,000 singles. He was on all the music I enjoyed growing up in the 60s and I didn’t even know his name then!

I saw a youtube video recently where a guy who owned a drum studio was playing on Blaine’s main old monster kit. He said that this drum kit was the most recorded drum kit in history. Really amazing. Check out the documentary about the Wrecking Crew on Netflix. I think it is still on there. It is really amazing.

I watched The Wrecking Crew documentary a year or two ago. It was really good! Think I’ll have to rewatch it...so many good memories!
