Those were Comey's FBI doing the debriefings. That's the same Comey FBI that failed to interview Campbell in 2014, before Rod Rosenstein put on his Uranium One show trial. A real investigation wouldn't rely on Comey/Obama FBI interviews.

But there were debriefings/interviews...right? And the information from those debriefings/interviews can be used in a case as long as the statute of limitations hasn't run out...right? You seem to be of the opinion that all FBI agents under Comey's tenure were corrupt. Is that your stance? Isn't that a rather broad brush? Do you believe there were no honest agents there at all during that time?

No, my position is not that all agents in the Comey FBI were dishonest. My position is that the FBI and the DOJ was corrupt at the top and that these corrupt officials at the top used other corrupt officials to stop any legitimate investigation and prosecution of Uranium One.

The FBI investigated Uranium One before Trump got into office...everyone was granted immunity and hard evidence was allowed to be destroyed....just like the Clinton email scandal.
You got a link so that I can get read up on that?

...everyone was granted immunity...
Are you sure? I get this from a quick search...

Grand jury indicts Maryland executive in Uranium One deal: report

I found some more...I do love me some Mr. GOHMERT!
ISSUES OF THE DAY; Congressional Record Vol. 164, No. 69 (House of Representatives - April 27, 2018)
They didn't want--Rosenstein, who is the U.S. attorney over the investigation--they didn't want Campbell out telling about all of the crimes committed in Russia's acquisition of U.S. uranium.
They have their own informant sign a nondisclosure agreement under threat so he wouldn't let anybody know about all the criminality surrounding Russia's efforts to get our uranium. That doesn't make sense, unless you know how much money came into the Clinton Foundation after the deal was approved.
This goes on. It says: ``Now consider this--none of the four indictments ever saw the light of day.''
Actually, that is not quite accurate. They just handled it very quietly. It says: ``Every one was either quietly settled under plea agreements, or dropped entirely, as follows.''
``Mikerin, the Tenam manager, was sentenced to 48 months under a plea deal, for crimes that had 20-plus year sentences.''
That was in: ``United States of America v. Vadim Mikerin--Original Indictment 11/12/14. Conspiracy to Interfere with Interstate Commerce by Extortion . . . Forfeiture.''
Darren Condrey had a plea agreement regarding his violations of antibribery and conspiracy laws.
Carol Condrey had a plea agreement, and her case was dropped.
Rubizhevsky from NexGen had the case settled with a plea agreement.
That is astonishing given the charges.
This stinks to high heaven. Mueller needs to go ahead and recuse himself and step down, and Rosenstein should do the same thing.
Mr. Speaker, I yield back the balance of my time.

You were almost right.

McCabe was referred for Prosecution. The DoJ doesn’t want to Prosecute.

Think Imran Awan. The DoJ wasn’t going to expose Debbie and the Dems.

Strzok testified on National TV that in his entire career, he was never involved with an Investigation that led to an indictment of a Democrat.

Huber was called in to shield the Coup Op. Sessions told the Republicans, Huber has it. No need for a Real Investigation.

Looks like that corruption goes higher than that which you've implied.

FBI’s 37 secret pages of memos about Russia, Clintons and Uranium One
Did the FBI notify then-President Obama, Hillary Clinton and other leaders on the CFIUS board about Rosatom’s dark deeds before the Uranium One sale was approved, or did the bureau drop the ball and fail to alert policymakers?
Neither outcome is particularly comforting. Either the United States, eyes wide open, approved giving uranium assets to a corrupt Russia, or the FBI failed to give the evidence of criminality to the policymakers before such a momentous decision.
Campbell tells me his FBI handlers assured him they had briefed Obama and then-FBI Director Robert Mueller, now the Russia special prosecutor, on Rosatom’s criminal activities as part of the president's daily briefing and that agents suggested to him that “politics” was the reason the sale was allowed to go through.

I sure would like to see some PDB's get declassified!

On a Friday morning of a Holiday weekend, they’ll release a blurb saying they have no interest in McCabe, Steele, and Simpson and they wish them well.

Fits the pattern.

Huber fits the pattern, too.

Strzok testified on National TV that in his entire career, he was never involved with an Investigation that led to an indictment of a Democrat.

It sure would be helpful if you had a video link or an article to go along with your statement as proof.

Just your saying it...well, let's just say I would like to see some supportive material and not just take your word for it.
I'm skeptical, after all.

Yup, all the guilty parties were brought to justice already....so will Democrats say.

Yes, everyone of importance cooperated with the investigation.

Democrats can "say" all they want. Whether or not they get the 'last' say...well, we live in interesting times, don't we.

They would never do that! POTUS has that meme in his corner. Nope, don't see that habbening. (not a typo)
On the other hand, an underhanded, retaliatory political attack...yeah, I can see that getting played...again and again and...

Upon what do you base your supposition?

Even the text of the article shows the headline is misleading. Huber reviewed the FBI’s handling of the Hillary investigation to verify internal FBI rules were followed. The FBI knows how manipulate their own rules for a desired outcome. There was no additional investigation of Hillary, as is clear from no questioning of witnesses.

Yes, that’s the game.

“FBI rules” is akin to HR. The same peeps that put Strzok in another Management position, and Bruce Ohr is working there (DoJ) to this day. His wife is stiff doing oppositional research on Trump, and the Trump Family. No conflict, there.

I think an investigation is going on.

As evidence I give this...
IG 2.0 could be even worse for FBI as feds brace for Trump-spying probe
Attorney General Jeff Sessions has also said U.S. Attorney John Huber is investigating claims of FBI and DOJ misconduct related to these actions, noting that Huber would be “conducting his work from outside the Washington D.C. area and in cooperation” with Horowitz.

And this...
Statement of Michael E. HorowitzInspector General, U.S. Department of Justice
before the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on the Judiciary concerning
"Examining Systemic Management and Fiscal Challenges within the Department of Justice"

We did all of this work that I describe above, and more, with a direct budget of about $93.7 million and an FTE of about 470, while overseeing a Department with a discretionary budget of $28.7 billion and with over 112,000 employees.

SO! Horowitz, who has about 470 full time employees (FTE) of his own and is working “in cooperation” with Huber. (though I can't find anything on the workforce he can bring to bear)

From reading the statement of Horowitz it's clear to see that he keeps his employees busy. If about half of his work force is put with Huber that is over 200 seasoned IG personnel. That's a lot of skilled people used to probing.

So my supposition, based upon the information I've gleaned is that...
"Lucy got a whole lot of 'splainin' to do!"
/Ricky Ricardo impression

Why do you keep using Victoria Toensing in such a deceptive manner, AnthonySoprano, when you've been shown evidence that her client did indeed get interviewed by the FBI? (165)

Read reply 165 linked above, jjotto.
