Had this about 15 years ago. It was no fun, but I didn't realize all the terrible complications that can follow: artery damage, stroke, dementia, lifelong pain, yikes! Better ask your doc about the newest vaccine.

For those interested, the VA sometimes has Shingrex Vaccine available. Also, if over 65, some local senior orgs. offer it free or at a discount.

I've had this vaccine last fall. A couple of dizzy spells and headache from first shot. Got second shot 2 months later with only minimal discomfort.

Shingles is a horrid illness. I for one wish to avoid it at all costs.

This is just a big ridiculous ploy to push the vaccine which is awful in itself.

Good God they’ll stop away nothing.
