I’m also Jewish, and I happen to love that joke...it shows the intelligence of the rabbi.

There’s another version of that joke that goes:
A Rabbi, a Priest and an Imam walk into a bar, and the bartender says “what is this, a joke?”

I’ve heard that joke before but it was about lawyers.

Just like the cops do. You know, if you’re not wearing a badge your a potential criminal.
If it was about lawyers it might be funnier. The only reason I could laugh at the rabbi in Seinfeld was because he was SO OVER THE TOP STUPID it entered its own category.
