No, no mention if him.He has a movie of his own, which I have not seen.
He has a interesting story, definately a lot of sticktoitliveness from the chap.
You mean they missed The Bob Carol Ted and Alice urinal scene? This is discrimination—strange you never hear that word anymore.
I’m sure it was meaningful for Bruce Jenner.
See tagline:)
Yes, hes the guy who came up with the idea of the ladies making their own pads. He did a great service.
“South Carolina, What’s Up!?!?!”
“Yes, hes the guy who came up with the idea of the ladies making their own pads. He did a great service.”
I read about him too and I agree. Great service.
Actually did something that helped to save lives.
“Maybe a movie about uncontrollable flatulence will win next year.”
The campfire scene from Blazing Saddles already did.
;^)
“You mean they missed The Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice urinal scene?”
Ewww...I don’t remember that scene. Just the scene of Natalie Wood naked below the waist.
Hard to believe that’s now fifty year ago. Geez.
My wife asked why I had feminine pads in the gun room. I said “to clean my guns and they were free.” She just looked at me and said “okay.”
I am not making a joke.
Next year they can do movie about a softball team called The Bloody Beavers of Bangladesh.
We could start company to fill their need- prestained Trannypads.
How can you trust something that bleeds for three days and doesn’t die?
Women are actually the majority of the population.
They need to lose the victim status as in *this is a special women’s issue. The rest of the world needs to under stand it.
Ummm, *the rest of the world* is MEN!
What a indication of how far we’ve fallen that something like this would be discussed on stage.
Women are in a bind.
The word *women* has the word *men* in it.
The word *lady* has the word *lad* in it.
The word *female* has the word *male* in it.
The word *person* has the word *son* in it.
The word *human* has the word *man* in it.
They need to find something different.
That gentleman was indeed persistent. Because of that persistence so many more are being raised out of ignorance.
He is the type of person I could invest monies. True, I would need to have the monies to make a difference. That said, he’s one name to put on a list!
He is no less important than the doctor who first tried to alert other physicians to the usage of gloves and sterilization when taking care of their female patients. I wish I could recall his name; he was mocked as well...
My mother sat us 3 girls down when we were eight and gave us the overview of menstrual periods. I was nine when it hit me; only time in my life I experienced the period without any pain at all. Only time. After that, they’d find me passed out from the pain. I really should have enjoyed the simple shock. LOL
My mom, on the other hand was 15 or 16. She rode a bus almost 2 hours (perhaps 3, I forget) away to have it explained to her by my Great Aunt. My grandmother was too uncomfortable to explain it to her own daughter. My grandmother was a nurse! So the stigma was still very much there in the 40’s at some point.
He is indeed a pioneer.
MMmm. Forgot to mention... the entire time my mom was on that bus to my Great Aunt’s house, she thought she was literally bleeding to death. Had never had it explained in any way and never read about it. Nothing. Nada. Zip.
She said she swore afterwards there would never be any topic off bounds between her and us girls or my brother. She never wanted us to have a such a fear in our lives.
Eek. That’s even worse when you’re also on your period.
Gonna have to start a “Bleeding Parts” club to properly address the “issues”....
Was Diarrhea passed over again?
