Never heard of Mr. Shine, or his wife.
I felt a little racist, typing that.
Goes without saying, but you wouldn’t see the words ‘bizarre’and ‘rant’ in the title if it weren’t a Republican.
I hear Trump’s wife’s 4th cousin said something bad about Global Warming.
My wife’s sister’s dog never got rabies and never had a rabies shot... this proves rabies shots are useless.
A moose somthing something blah-blah.
“Bizarre” is spirit cooking. This is just an opinion.
***sigh***
“Shine went on to claim that she had measles, mumps and chicken pox as a child and so did every kid I knew.
Because of this, Shine believes she is immune to the disease.”
That’s pretty much textbook. And what we use to base ‘herd immunity’. Ie, people who’d already had and recovered from the disease.
I’ve never heard of her. Can we impeach a government employees wife?
“Bizarre” “rant”
Nope. No bias there.
I think “the disease” refers to cancer, not measles, mumps, or chicken pox. Anyway, Mrs. Shine is a couple of years younger than I am, though not nearly as attractive for our age, and our generation was vaccinated for MMR and Polio, though not for chicken pox.
“People” also reported on the Fox host who hasn’t washed his hands in 10 years “because germs aren’t real.” So is “People” (known throughout doctor’s waitings rooms from sea to shining sea) going to be drip drip dripping more of this sort of social horror on the GOP in the leadup to 2020?

and you get shingles from chicken pox
Actually, they will. And they got that immunity without having to risk their lives and health by getting sick. Ive had mumps, but never the other two diseases because I was vaccinated.
Also, the notion that having measles protects against cancer is bizarre.
I’ve had the shingles vaccine: I don’t have time for anything that doesn’t kill me quickly. I understand they’re recommending a booster on the shingles vaccine, now. My GP will prescribe it - he’s a good egg - and I’ll pay cash again if necessary.
People was not my first choice. Saw it on USA Today, which it wouldn’t let me post from due to copyright. Looked on Fox, nothing there. Also saw it on CNN, but I knew how that would go down.
There are some studies that link exposure to clinical mumps (but not mumps vaccination) to decreased risk of ovarian cancer:

Dunno. Brigham and Womens Hospital doesn’t seem like quack central.
There’s also some consideration that a beneficial side effect of chicken pox is a significantly reduced susceptibility to multiple sclerosis.
Bill Shine was program director and many similar titles for Roger Ailes of the original Fox News. Bill was accused by Megyn as helping to cover up incidents of inappropriate behavior for years, at Roger’s behest.
Since Fox is virtually under new Murdoch ownership, Bill was soon to be next on the Old Guard chopping block.
Just at that time, President Trump asked Bill to serve in his administration. So he went.
