No but when I was little we used to watch the class D, Panama City, Fliers. It was surprisingly good baseball.
Later we would watch the Asheville Tourists during the Summers spent near there. For a while it was the Asheville, Orioles. Then back to the Tourists.
Cal Ripkin Sr. was the manager and his Son was the bat boy. His Daughter would sweep the bases during the 7th inning stretch.

At least 500,000 youth players at the high school, college, and club levels. MLB drafts about 1,000 of those players each year. The lowest level of MLB-affiliated minor leagues has a high level of talent.
It just shows the unbelievable skill level of major leaguers.
His Hall of Fame son or the one on MLB Network?

I do know that Cal Sr. played in the Class D Alabama Florida League.
I believe I read that Cal Sr. was an infielder like his boys.
I still have a baseball signed by all the players of the Panama City Flyers. My Sister was 13 at the time and she got the groundskeeper to give her a baseball and then got them all to autograph it.
It is an official Alabama Florida League baseball, I think a
Spaulding.
I have an official American League baseball inches form me, and I have an Eastern League baseball in the other room.
One of the signatures is of Chase Riddle. He was the player/manager. He later played triple A and several people have told me he could have made the majors but he preferred scouting for the St. Louis Cardinals.
After retirement he returned to his Alma Mater, Troy and coached them to two Division II national championships. He was elected to the Troy sports hall of fame on the first ballot, as much as a football, baseball and basketball star as for his coaching.
