Funny stuff.
A similar incident happened many years ago when the company I work for entered into discussions with Sony for a partnership in producing a cutting edge tape library data storage appliance.
After development and design were done, manufacturing was set to ramp up and start producing. Sony announced at a meeting that because this appliance would hold a huge number of tapes for data storage and petabytes of data, they were planning on naming this new tape library the Sony PetaFile.
The representatives from our company tried not to laugh and did well not to offend...but they did inform the Sony people that there is NO way they could use that name and explained exactly why.
I owned an Audi several years ago, it was a really crappy car. I sold it at a big loss but was thrilled to be rid of it.
From the four Audis I and family owned over the years, that is a fitting name for them.
