I don’t know how she managed to do it, but she seems to have inoculated herself against the lunatic left. Maybe because she does TV and isn’t a so-called Hollyweird A lister? Her father was a long time, well-known sports writer, Chuck Heaton, maybe they laid off her out of respect for him? Anyway, she’s a very talented comedienne and I’ve long been a fan of hers.

I liked the show. One of few family comedies where the dad wasn’t an idiot. That said, the show had pretty much run its course. The kids, except for Brick, had grown up, and the show was really about the parents and kids. It was good while it lasted and maybe they didn’t want to jump the shark.
