The over dramatization of a lot of good informational programs pisses me off too but I have learned to discern. I did see the first two programs of project blue book.
Interesting side note, after the program I did a search of Project Blue Book Men in Black. I read a good article and then tried to go to another site and my modem wouldn’t connect me. Did a trouble shoot and did the recommended unplug/reboot and was able to get online. Never had this happen to my modem before.
After doing a CCleaner I was going to go back and see if I could duplicate the failure by going back to that site. Decided not to because of a previous experience where a virus actually destroyed my computer.
Fortunately, I was already gone by then, but I knew a couple guys who were at Keesler during Camille. They didnt like it much.
As in the days if Noah?
Back around 1987 my good friend Gene was telling me about a thing he saw in the sky real close while cat fishing at night on the Charles river in my home town of Dedham, MA.
He was absolutely convinced that he saw a UFO.
Aty the time i was like “Whatever”....
A few days later my friend Eric who did not know Gene told me the exact same story, a triangle shaped UFO he saw the same night.
Then i got the goosebumps.
can’t be a coincidence they both obviously saw something, UFO or not i dunno..
I was living in Alabama in ‘73 and the state of Mississippi was half my territory at the time. The local papers in South MS, from Hattiesburg on down were full of data on this sighting.
Follow up to last post.
Yea it could have been aliens my buds saw BUT UFO doesn’t mean it WAS aliens.
around 15 years ago me, my old GF and her parents spent a weekend at a hotel right on the beach in Yarmouth, Cape Cod, MA.
It was a foggy night, i had a kite and i tied 3 green glowsticks to the bottom and we all went on the beach to fly it.
Flying fairly high the glowsticks cast an eerie green glow through the fog.
the next morning at breakfast at the hotel everybody was talking about the UFO they saw that previous night, we all got a laugh out of it.
Of course non of them were claiming that they were abducted..
I think these so called abductions have been reported for years, in many countries. I have always thought they were demon manifestations, whose goal is deception. Nephilim?
Yep, I think so!
THANKS!!
I was VERY disappointed at the end of the second episode. Hynek pulls out a telescope for the son, and then points the opening at the ground and the closed “mirror” end at the sky.
If they saw anything, it was a blurry view of the ground. Hollywood folks are dumb.
Otherwise it’s kind of engaging. Hynek WAS a skeptic, but, also was interested in the truth. No coverups. A let the chips fall kind of guy.
Lets say there was a video camera a mile up river from where these men say they were abducted.
The video recorded would be of very low quality in comparison to today. (240 X 333 lines of resoulution)
The black and white cameras also had a high light requirement. Anything poorly lit was not going to show up.
Given that rivers are not necessarily straight and river fronts are often built up the cameras of the day were typically made for focusing on near objects especially in low light, I would be surprized if they caught any thing happening a mile away at night.
Anything happening a mile away caught by camera in the early 1970s at night would have to have been of biblical proportions.
Who said it was a mile away? I liked the Pascagoola story when I first heard it, I’m simply telling you that if you search you’ll find an analysis debunking the story based on a cctv camera which showed nothing happening on that dock that night.
I just looked up USS Shark. Skipjack class. What was so special about her? Special armament? (big ‘splody weapons?)
Interesting that you’re able to confirm hearing about this so far back. Thanks.
Swamp gas?
I doubt it.
