2031 is when their fleet of 3 working tanks is expected to be on line if all goes as planned ...

Part of the issue is that after unification (1990), they made some decision to have one central parts ‘warehouse’ (for everything, Army-Navy-Air Force), and since day one....they haven’t been able to really put a smart crew in charge of the warehouse or plan a logistical trail. It’s almost like the KGB figured out this weakness...got the right people hired...and ensured that they could never be a threat.

“- - - but it is what happens when social programs get all the money.”

And that’s what will happen to us if that “newly minted” “democrat darling” AOC gets her way.

(Newly minted & democrat darling are dem/MSM talking points, every time I hear them I want to throw up!)

Interesting. So much for the famous German “efficiency.”

“In autumn 2017, Germany was literally left without its entire submarine fleet as all of them were either on maintenance or in dire need of repairs.”

Why bother now? Germany doesn’t have the will nor the desire to use their submarines.

THREE STRIKES AND YOU’RE OUT.
SO FAR THEY ARE 2-0.

After WW2 Germany should have ceased to exist as a nation

This is the funny thing. You could go and take your $80k Mercedes car to the dealer with a major problem, and they’d have the part delivered to the dealer by mid-day tomorrow, and likely installed by 6PM. So you take your $1-million tank into the German tank shop, and it’s ten to fifteen days before the part is delivered, and at least three days before the mechanics can get to it and install the part. The sloppiness to this is a total mystery to the Germans.

“Sleep soundly, France.” Lol, yeh, too funny. Merkel’s and Macron have been making noises about the EU forming its own military and its own strategy. Yet, they continue to drag their feet when it comes to upping their spending on military hardware. Don’t know how they plan to pull that off. Let’s watch and 😂...

Their actual deadline is September 1, 2039. It’s a very special anniversary.

What happens if the Russians roll in? Who will stop the T-90 tanks? If America is ripped by Civil War and can’t come? WHo will fight for Germany? If you think their will never be another major war recall the worlds of Socrates —the wisest of the Ancient Greeks— “Only the dead have seen the end of war.” History tells us that WW III is always possible.

I’m not really all that broken up by this. A strong Germany has never been very good for anyone else.

As for Russia, they are not a real threat to Western Europe. Poland and the rest of Eastern Europe stand in the way, and in view of the events of the past 100 or so years they ARE prepared to defend themselves.

German’s new motto will be: “Ein Reich. Ein Volk. Ein Panzer.”

“...ein Panzer” LOL!

From wiki:

As of 28 February 2018 there were a total of 61,054 soldiers on active service in the German Army.[2] However, the quite unique German military branch of the Joint Support Service consists to a significant degree of Heeresuniformträger (army uniform wearing personnel).[10] This is also contributed to by the Joint Medical Service, which does have other solely-military-medical branch counterparts (such as in South Africa).

In accordance with EU working hour regulations, the regular work-week is 41 hours, although numerous exceptions exist for e.g. deployments in oversea missions, training exercises, emergencies, and similar military needs.[11]
