Rosenstein is not the acting head of DOJ. Whitaker is. And Rosenstein was taken off being the supervisor of Mueller. At some point Trump is going to release the unredacted FISA documents, including the renewal signed by Rosenstein.

"Rosenstein is not the acting head of DOJ. Whitaker is."

Agreed. However, there are currently no congressional committees that are asking for his testimony, much less sending him a subpoena. The House now won't, and the Senate hasn't. It would take some amount of time for that to happen, and Barr will likely be approved by then.

Somehow, I don’t think we have heard the last of Rosenstein.

Still waiting for justice for McCabe, Strzok, Page, Brennan, Hillary, Clapper, Comey et al. One knows it will never happen.

Rosenstein was Trump’s worst appointment, IMHO. Trump may not have won the election without the support of Sessions. Many voters who were very unsure about Trump trusted Sessions.

Rosenstein, on the other hand, had given Trump nothing. RR was instrumental in the judicial cover-up of the Uranium One deal. Trump was accustomed to hiring people, giving them a chance and then firing them if they didn’t work out. That cannot happen with much in the government. Whoever recommended RR knew the he was dirty. Was it Maryland Dem Congressman Elijah Cummings, a sly fox? Dems play hardball.

The median tenure for a DAG is 14 months. Consulting and law firms offer them multiples of their less than $200k salaries from the government.

Amazing that it took three “reporters” to leave that out, huh?

Must be hard work writing propaganda...

So glad he’s on the way out. A very rotten apple in the Deep State.

Will Rosenweasel be permitted to slither away and never be required to answer for all the traitorous things he’s done and/or abetted?

I like how the media is now worried about the Mueller investigation, like it started 18 days ago instead of 18 months.

It must be that the UniParty and deep state planted Sessions in the Trump campaign.

Is there any other explanation?

Because of Sessions, Mueller is.

Sessions has superceeded Benedict Arnold.

In a just world Sessions would be hung by the people and his corpse dumped in the ocean.

“Trust Sessions “? Spit. You Q people have fallen for another deep state creation/larp.

Neither. Look up how rare it is for the DAG to stay in the job for more than a year or two.

Remember Sally Yates? She was the DAG that Trump fired. She’s working at mega law firm King & Spalding for at least twice what she made in government.

King & Spalding, BTW, used to pay Chris Christie pal and FBI Director Christopher Wray $10 million a year. Why would Way leave that for $200k per year at the FBI, mmm?
