That is so true. My friend’s nephew lost his wife and kids due to meth addiction. His first three kids went to live with relatives. He had the new son with the newest wife. He wouldn’t/couldn’t kick the meth habit. Lost his job. Turned into a lazy slob. Wife took son and went to live with her mom. A few years ago. He lived on the streets in Calif in his RV. Lost everything. No one wanted to send him money, would all go for meth.
Recently he cleaned up his act. Stop using. Got a job. Living in OKC with his family. Took off for Calif to visit ex wife and son. Instead hooked up with his old meth Head “friends”. Finally made it to wife’s house. Thought they could make a go of it again. No, he is still addicted. Clean and sober here, stoned there, clean, stoned....
So she turned him down and turned him out. He went back to OKC depressed. She chose not to get back together with him. Well Josh chose Meth over wife a few years ago. It isn’t like she isn’t chosing him. He chose drugs over his family.
I do hope he cleans up and stays sober this time. His family is sick of this. His wife left him. He lost contact of his 4 kids.
I am sure many porch thieves are getting money for meth and other drugs.

Though back in the day I think a “trunk monkey” could have been the guy you snuck into a drive-in movie in the trunk to get out of him paying admission.
Meth addiction must be awful - what they’ll do for money and what the stuff does to them. Really forks up them and their lives. Glad I never had any interest in even trying anything of that nature, even when I was young and stupid.
Well, “T” for thief would be more acceptable than “P””P” (say it out loud and you’ll get the gist.
