120 people on Facebook with a lot of old work mates, school mates and extended family that I frankly never expected to talk to.
But there were about 30 there who I had real, true friends. They haven’t stopped caring or liking me but they use facebook as their communication tool. A ringing phone is ignored today because that’s simply not how people communicate.
That’s the amazing thing about FB. I lost touch with all the people I met over the years. FB brought us back together.
That's where we differ. I had no interest in getting back with anyone from those days. As I've gotten older, the less people in my life, the less complicated it is. That's just my personal feeling, and I'm speaking as an old lady. We're all different in our wants and needs, and what we feel comfortable with. As my mother used to say, life would certainly be boring if we were all alike.

I’m in the process of saving pictures, then deleting all my FB posts after being there 10 years. Going to look at MeWe. Thanks for posting the article. I passed it along to family members who are leaving. My brother also just sold all his FB stock.
