Yes. To be honest Ryan buying a $400,000 house is quite normal for someone in Congress and anyone making over $130,000 a year. In fact, it shows fiscal responsibility.
I think this guy was snooping into info and is expecting to be feted at the next dem awards dinner.
I would respect this journalist much more if he snooped around Chappaqua, NY and dug into Hillary's trash.

...And dye out the grey hair and roots. After reaching a certain age, totally dark hair makes a woman look needy.

I’m not sure that I wanna know what the definition of a “...John Boehner kind of place” is.

But it was easily afforded by Ryan, who became a millionaire as a result of his marriage in 2000 to Janna Little, a former congressional staffer turned Washington lobbyist who hails from a wealthy family of Oklahoma trial lawyers, and who changed her name to Janna Ryan upon getting married.Wonder if she lobbied any Congress person after the marriage? If so sounds like a conflict!

$400,000 won’t buy much of a home in many parts of the country.

There are houses like that all over Washington, DC. Only in DC, the same house would cost 1.5 to 2.5 million dollars, depending on what block it’s on.

He has earned plenty from K Street, and will earn more as a lobbyist. He no longer really needs the wife.

10 foot wall-—VERY unusual in Wisconsin. I dfon’t think even the Governor’s mansion in Madison/maple Bluff has such a high wall.
Probably only the state prison at Waupun has a higher wall.

I am no fan of Ryan’s, but this is a big nothing. It might be different if this house he bought was worth 2 million, but it is less than a half a million, in Milwaukee. “””
Ryan’s house is NOT in Milwaukee. It is in Janesville- near the Illinois border. Chevrolet used to have an assembly plant in Janesville.

My point still stands, though.
