Sickening.
Nice house and attractive homeowner ... except for that gap in her teeth. Is that some genetic trait? I see it frequently in that demographic.
Also, probably a fair chance this isn’t the kids 1st rodeo doing this either.
Kids used to put a snake in a purse and leave it on the hood of a car at the Zayre.
You are very likely to be correct.
Crooks and crazies are all over nowadays it seems.
Momma done teach da kid ‘bout dem Whiteys, and dat dey gots all da money, and it’s allrite to take dey money cuz dey be White.
That’ll work...
My skank cousin and her derelict now ex-husband once broke into a relatives cabin for a without permission vacation but opening a window and shoving his eight year old daughter through it to go open the deadbolt.
Drugs will allow people to justify amazingly stupid things.
I live not far from where this occurred. The opiod problem is massive around here. I suspect it’s related.
Drugs addicts never cease to amaze me with regards to what they will do.
It’s a completely sad devastating and remarkably preventable problem.
Nancy Reagan was mocked mercilessly but had it right. Just say no.
Back in high school, most of my friends smoked lots of dope.
“Nope, ain’t my thing” worked every time.
I’m guessing that once you get beyond about 20 years old, enough maturity kicks in not go down the first try road.
Of course, there are exceptions and the opiod thing is a huge one. I’ve had Oxycodone before as a pain reliever for real pain. I remember the first time I took one how the pain miraculously vanished. I said “Synthetic heroin is wonderful, but I couldn’t imagine taking them if I didn’t need them.”
I have tremendous sympathy for someone who gets hooked on synthetics by their doctor. Not so much for recreational users.
I live in Harford County, MD, a few miles from the crime. The sheriff (our kind of guy) has taken the approach of going hard after dealers. They treat users and OD’s as victims of the dealers and wring as much information out of them as possible. Then they go after the dealer and nail them hard.
They have a Overdose chart in front of every police station. Last week it was about 150 overdoses and 80 fatalities. I think it’s down from last year.
Sorry, 474 overdoses YTD
I knew an older lady who was having a terrible time with someone stealing her hanging plants off of her porch. I offered to help. I bought two cheep hanging baskets and after a quick trip to the woods my carefully protected hands and arms had produced two beautiful arrangements of poison ivy. They were stolen a few nights later, but nothing was after that.
Keeper
That’s why criminal gangs have used little children as thieves forever.
Back in the day, i lived for a few years in a neighborhood that rapidly started going downhill. There was a flophouse next door where a crazy old lady would steal my Sunday newspaper off the porch every week, and thieves would steal my hoses off the front lawn. I finally had enough and moved to a MUCH better neighborhood with mostly good people for neighbors.
There was a video out a couple of years ago where a homeowner had a great idea when he got tired of “porch piracy” involving his packages.
He filled a box with cat or dog feces and left it on his porch. He had improved upon the idea by also adding a small explosive that would go off when the box was opened. The explosive charge was not sufficient to cause physical harm to the “pirate” but was enough to propel the disgusting contents of the box all over the person who opened it.
So, in the video, a small car stops in front of the house. A man gets out of the passenger side, looks around, and walks up to the porch. He picks up the package and returns to the car. The car pulls off, but almost immediately screeches to a halt. The “pirate” (and maybe the driver as well) gets out of the car in a hurry, brushing off his clothes.
I couldn’t help but enjoy watching it!
