Why is Melania not behind the glass? was it meant to protect POTUS? [rotten fruit tossed his way, whatever]... Melania IS behind glass as well. You can see a white reflection in the glass about waist high near her left arm.
The glass is in several segments, like the glass at a hockey rink. (Kind of hard to wield a 40' long single piece of bullet-proof Plexiglas...)
