I thought the cat was on his balcony. OK, it was wrong to shoot the cat on the neighbor’s balcony.

If this was someone's pet then prosecute him but 2 yrs for a 77 yr old? Really?

The guy may have mental issues.

Sounds like some neighbors were feeding some feral cats and the guy got tired of cleaning crap off his balcony.

Feral cats are filthy disease carrying varmints that are devastating to wildlife and to people's pets and need eradicated.

If he killed a cat with a “BB gun” at an apartment complex in the greater Austin area, his shot placement is better than his judgement.

And you feel that way with feral dogs?

Cats are better than people.

Can't imagine a cat doing this just for fun to a person.

The only difference between a feral cat and a family pet is a caring hand.

"the guy got tired of cleaning crap off his balcony."

IF so, he should have used the ole anti-freeze in a bowl trick rather than shooting at another's balcony.

You have seen cats “play” with their food before killing it, yes?

Yes..

They can run in packs, attack people, especially kids, kill deer and breed with coyotes.

If the dog or cat is a homeless pet then adopt it or take it to a shelter.

Do they not bleed?

As do beets. Do you kill beets?

Years ago my state hunting rules asked hunters to put down feral dogs you might see ‘running deer’. Feral dogs are in some ways more dangerous than wolves. Wolves generally show a healthy fear of man. Feral dogs have had that bred out of them.

I would not hesitate if I thought the situation demanded putting down any feral animal. Or any animal period. Four legged or two.

You've never seen them eat their prey alive or play with it before killing?

That's what they do.

Keep your damn cats off my property. They’ll live longer, and so will my free ranging chickens.

OMG. This turd needs to be locked up for the rest of his miserable insane life. Who knows if he wouldn’t expand his shooting to kids? Personally, I’d beat him bloody with a baseball bat. Poor kitty. I hope it didn’t suffer.

So it sounds like you think killing a helpless cat is more earth shattering than killing a helpless fetus?

You are one sick piece of garbage. So, you'd poison the cat and have it suffer, when it was on its OWN balcony, innocently eating the food its owners gave it? Maybe we should try that little "trick" on YOU.
