The only way to avoid that is to watch the shows on some streaming service like Hulu or Amazon Prime commercial free.

As a child of the 70’s, I never missed an episode of Little House on the Prairie. Everything you need to know in life was in that TV show. Everything!
You are right. And now Laura Ingalls Wilder’s books are under attack and I think some are banned. It’s sickening.

Just finished watching it. She so reminded me of a few older women I knew in my small town.
