Don’t waste your or our time predicting: get yourself and everyone you count on, off your butts and vote.

California has two Senators too many. So does Delaware.

By the same logic, representative democracy is just as flawed. The only solution would be to put all questions up to direct, popular vote. In other words, mob rule.

I agree. It is more likely Republicans will hold the House. Downside is that Ryan’s Never Trumpers will then remain in power. I’d like to see them all swept out.

As well as Illinois.

Dems have zero chance of taking the Senate, while the probabilities of Republicans increasing their members is certain and should be at least 4 more,

I don’t understand your comment about California and Wyoming having two Senators. There’s 50 States. Each State has two Senators regardless of population.

They’ve already started that along with “the Electoral College isn’t democratic.”

Every state has 2 Senators.

The Senate represents the States. The house is supposed to represent the people, but does it? They represent their own political ideology, and couldn’t care less about the people they’re supposed to represent. Nancy P proved that when she called another rep “insignificant”.

Republicans keep the Senate. Dems make gains in the house, but won’t take it.

Whether or not democrats take the House, there will be more Trump supporters. A huge number of never-Trumpers including Paul Ryan are retiring (many because they were about to be primaried out)

He was saying that election of senators is not based on the population of respective states. If it were, CA would have more than 2 senators, and WY fewer. It’s an argument that’s not going anywhere and likely won’t get a whole lot of attention.

I hope not, but the ‘rats are certainly making a big effort.

They have to, they have no choice.

They know that if they don't stop PDJT now, they'll lose the chance for probably another six years at least. That's because the economy will be roaring by 2020, and PDJT will be reelected in a landslide, as Reagan was in 1984.

They also know that the underlying dynamics won't change, and that time is on PDJT's side.

They know that illegal aliens already here will continue to commit crimes, and that the outrage of ordinary Americans will continue to grow.

They know that terrorism around the world won't let up, and that the massive third-world invasion of Europe will look worse and worse as time goes on.

They know that the craziness and Trump Derangement Syndrome of the MSM will make it more and more irrelevant over time; more people will turn to the internet for news, and they will have a harder time keeping the population stupid.

For all these reasons and more, they know this is their last chance.

Oh. Another reason: the baby boomers, the aging hippies, are going to be too old to do anything much after this. By 2020, they'll be in their 70s, and will have their minds on things other than overthrowing Trump. Soros may well be gone, and if things go as they usually do, his sons won't be anything like his equal, and will screw his empire up in a big way.

Second that,

But adding the following reasons.

1. Registered Republicans are at an elevated level of motivation that is is rarely seen during a mid-term election.

2. Democrats have fatally over estimated (taken for granted) support from demographic groups who traditionally vote Democrat.

3. The Democrat message/narrative is so narrow, it’s hard to tell if they are trying to motivate angry lesbians or illegal immigrants. Either way, they have wasted their powder on a group who will vote Democrat anyway and a group who can’t legally vote anyway.

4. Despite their differences with Trump on several policies, unions have seen something under Trump that Obama could not deliver, JOBS and with those jobs, union worker’s paying dues...

5. After the housing market crashed in 2008, many, many, many home owners became renters. 2018 , many have returned to homeowner status.

6. Did I mention, JOBS. Apparently Trump has a magic wand (Suck it Obama).

7. Do you know how many Democrats have spent years without a full-time job, good benefits or hope for the future. Now imagine how they felt when their take home pay increases after Trump/Republicans reduce the amount of taxes they were paying in. (Only ones left out are the moochers who can no longer pawn their liberal state tax burden off on us)

8. Remember how EPA policies were made to NECESSARILY cause coal, oil and natural gas production costs to SKYROCKET. Trump ending of Obama EPA policies have removed the shackles and allowed those industries to compete and dominate their markets.

9. For multiple decades, we have watched our jobs dwindle as factories closed down and/or moved operations to other countries with less compliance, taxation and lower wages. Thanks to Trump’s spine and negotiation skills, trade deficits are being balanced and a level playing field is being restored (Americans are still bad asses when it come to productivity - on a level playing field, it’s still not a fair fight. I almost feel sorry for our competition.... Winning!)

10. After many, many presidents... Finally, one who delivers. And that is a huge motivator. Have you ever had a parent, teacher, coach, boss or friend who was tough, demanding and wouldn’t let you slack off or take short cuts , they made you stretch and strive for every inch of ground you gained. But in the end they were the one(s) who would tell you how good you are, how much better you could be and would be the first to stand up for you. Trump projects that and people feel it.

I think the democrats are in for a tragic night of reality checks that will expose their deficits....
