Yup, Zeppelin and Babe I’m Gonna Leave You. Even if Zep stole that one.

You are not alone. As to the title, most do and will never know.

El Paso - Marty Robbins

I think I'd pick a different Marty Robbins song, "Don't Worry", with Grady Martin accidentally producing a fuzz-tone sound in the guitar solo.

"November Rain" is a recent discovery of mine. Awesome song and somehow I missed it when it was released back in 1991 (that was my country music phase). They've been playing that song at Trump rallies lately.

My personal favorite power ballad is "Don't Know What You Got (Till It's Gone) by Cinderella. A few years ago when I relocated to NYC for work, that song played on the radio as I was leaving my old house for the last time up in the Boston area. It was already a favorite song of mine but just serendipitous that it happened to play at that particular time.

It reached number 7 on Billboard album tracks in ‘92. Some people heard it. Give it a listen, you’ll like it.

I’m not sure if ‘Separate Ways/Worlds Apart’ by Journey qualifies as a power ballad, but that’s my nomination.

Seems many here are unclear about what constitutes a power ballad. I’ve seen ballads listed without the power, and power numbers without the ballad.

My entry: “Love to Love,” by UFO. Especially the live version on Strangers in the Night: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M687f5m6QZw

The music video adds to the flavor of the song. It is on YouTube.

Now way a Power Ballad. More like fold mixed with some rock.

"A great song & a great story."

Yes, but the tempo and drums are RnR.
