I love it.

Then the drool starts; ‘Lil DRool; Big Drool; and Mega Drool...all lined up hovering over their puddles of drool. :P

Bingo! At 3:00 every day my guy says time for fun at the dog park. At 4:00 he says enough, time to go home. Dogs know much more than we think.

I know, that’s why I said he was as smart as his owner. If Roy got the answer wrong, so would Trigger. It kind of ruins the joke to have to explain it.

My dog knows exactly when breakfast & supper time is. He also knows Sunday is the day to go to the park. However, the change to/from daylight savings time upsets his rhythm for days.

Quarter to nine... that is about fifteen minutes earlier than my four-legged mother hen used to come find me to let me know that it was time for me to end my day. It has been about two years, and I still miss that cat. Her “wake up call” was less subtle: she would stand up on her hind legs and pound the (already open) bedroom door with her front paws until it would bounce off the doorstop, after which she would bop it right back and thus set up an unholy racket of banging a hollow wooden door back and forth.

It wouldn’t have taken a “scientific study” to confirm this. Anyone with a pet knows the pet has a definite sense of time. Especially if you’re late in feeding them. If I stay out far later than I do usually, my cats display anger when I come home. It’s like they are standing there, arms crossed, saying, “Where were YOU?”

I hope no taxpayer money was spent on a study to determine this.

At 5:55 a.m. every morning one cat is marching back and forth across my chest, and another one is licking my nose.
