Movie starts 7 15. It is now 7pm. Husband and I are only ones in the movie theatre. 2 hr drive from home.
This movie should be promoted by the Catholic Church and every other church. Not one mention from the USCCB and not a mention of it at Mass this morning. Ill never forgot about 10 years ago when the movie about Catholic persecution during the 20s in Mexico came out. It was called
For Greater Glory, and the Knights of Columbus gave about 2 million dollars for the movie to be made. It was not promoted at all by the church. The Knights of Columbus sent out a few trailers to Knight councils about that movie and now the Gosnell movie, but not one mention of it was said at church. When our priest was going over upcoming events not one mention of the movie. Not one mention at any Knights of Columbus meeting. As pro-life director at my council Ive gotten a couple of emails from the Diocese telling me where the movie was being played and i passed it on. Maybe someone went to see as a result of my email. Who knows.
There were about 2 dozen people at tonights showing. It was very good. So glad I saw it.
